THE OWNER - Mr Chris Christoforou?

Well, it may be Chris Christoforou, (pictured below), or it could be his common-law wife, Eileen Hayes! (Or it may be Chris Hayes, as he calls himself on the JobCentrePlus website!)

This page will be completed in the future when we have checked some facts.

We can confirm that, in spite of what he told the Judge in Court, the Electoral Roll shows him still sharing an address with Eileen Hayes.

We have discovered several companies registered at this address, some of them no longer trading.

He was advertising cars on the Autotrader website under the name of BIRSTALL GUARANTEED FINANCE CENTRE, but with links to a website in the name of SCOOTERS GARAGE. We reported this to Autotrader, but he is now advertising on there under the name of SANDMOOR MOTORS.

In spite of the implication of "guaranteed finance" on these premises, Chris Christoforou has a current Consumer Credit Licence (No. 600861) in the name of SANDMOOR MOTORS, Unit 2, Victoria Street, Birstall, WF17 9ET, which was granted in May 2007.

However, we have established that he is definitely NOT the famous artist of the same name from the Leighton Buzzard Art Society!
